<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding bicycle easily foldable and enclosing protrusions of respective parts and easily soiled parts in an equipped case to make it look like a carry bag. <P>SOLUTION: The folding bicycle is constituted to fold an upper seat pillar saddle handlebar of a seat tube downward when folded by providing a stem for supporting a top tube, the seat tube and a handlebar, with a part turned around by 180°. A crank arm of a pedal is supported by an arm fixed to a seat tube portion on the lower side from the turned-around part. Power from a chain wheel is once received by a sprocket with its rotation axis coaxial with a pivot of the lowermost part of the seat tube and then transmitted to the rear wheel side by a coaxial gear located at a centerline that laterally bisects a front wheel in a straight advancing state from the rear view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
