<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bat for baseball or softball which is improved in repulsion properties while maintaining sufficient durability. <P>SOLUTION: The bat 1 is the one for baseball or softball including a ball hitting portion 3, a taper portion 4, and a grip portion 5. The ball hitting portion 3 includes a ball hitting portion core material 11 as a core material, an elastic body 12, and a crust member 13. The elastic body 12 disposed on the periphery of the ball hitting portion core material 11. The crust member 13 is disposed on the periphery of the elastic body 12.
