<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition having excellent color characteristics and particularly, a high transmittance, and thereby allowing a color filter with a high lightness to be formed, and to provide a color filter having good color characteristics, that is, a high lightness of white. <P>SOLUTION: The colored composition includes a colorant carrier containing a transparent resin, a precursor thereof or a mixture of these, a perylene-based pigment dispersed in the colorant carrier, and a specific derivative or salt thereof having an acidic group, and the composition is characterized in that: the perylene-based pigment is subjected to a salt milling process together with a water-soluble inorganic salt and a water-soluble organic solvent; when a coating film is formed by using a red composition prepared by dispersing the above pigment in the above colorant carrier to obtain a spectral transmittance of 1% at a wavelength of 470 nm, the coating film has spectral characteristics showing not less than 8% of a spectral transmittance at 545 nm and not less than 80% of a spectral transmittance at 615 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
