<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress storage capacity needed in each authentication device for biometric authentication, and to increase processing speed of the biometric authentication without reducing the convenience of an authenticated person. <P>SOLUTION: A biometric matching system is configured to store group information that defines a predetermined group to which an authentication terminal device belongs, register matching biometric information on the specific person to be authenticated in an authentication terminal device belonging to a predetermined group based on the group information when satisfying a predetermined registration requirement, and delete the matching biometric information registered in the authentication terminal device when satisfying a predetermined deletion requirement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
