ELECTRODE STRUCTURE, LOW-PRESSURE DISCHARGE LAMP, LIGHTING SYSTEM AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a sealing part of an electrode structure when a low-pressure discharge lamp is sealed by using the electrode structure by reducing distortion of a glass member of the electrode structure. SOLUTION: The electrode structure 100 includes: an electrode 101; a sealing line 102 having one end connected to the electrode 101; and the glass member 103 formed to cover at least part of the sealing line 102. When the thermal expansion coefficient of the sealing line 102 is represented by K1[K-1] and the thermal expansion coefficient of the glass member 103 by Kg[K-1], a relationship of 7.5×10-7≤K1-Kg≤12×10-7and 90×10-7≤Kg≤100×10-7is established.
