摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material-alumina composite thin film which has such strength that it can be used as a self-supported film, is flexible, avoids the generation of a crack, and has high transparency and functionality. <P>SOLUTION: The organic material-alumina composite thin film comprises an accumulation of an organic material and hydrated alumina particles or alumina particles having a fibrous or acicular shape whose aspect ratio (major axis/minor axis) is 30-5,000, wherein the hydrated alumina particles or alumina particles act apparently as a host. The total amount of the organic material is≤30 wt.% based on the amount of the alumina composite thin film, and the alumina has orientation and adheres to or is separate from a support.
