<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill handling device having an exchangeable bill collection cassette having different stacking capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The bill handling device includes: a bill stacking stage 40 having a projection part 40a projecting to the outside of a stacking space; through-holes 50b, 50a through which light of a remaining detection sensor 12 pass, which are formed in a cassette inner wall 43 and outer wall 45 on a projecting side of the projection part 40a and in the cassette inner wall 43 and outer wall 45 facing to the side; a light shielding plate 44 supported by the projection part 40a when the bill stacking stage 40 is positioned in a home position; and a locking part 52 positioned near the through-hole 50b. The light shielding plate 44 is lifted above the through-hole 50b by the projection part 40a when the bill stacking stage 40 is positioned in the home position, and the light shielding plate 44 is lowered to a position supported by the locking part 52 when the bill stacking stage 40 moves down to close the through-hole 50b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
