PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate dish setting and to improve usability. SOLUTION: A tool for placing a dish includes a first locking member 1a for locking a lower part of a rim of a bowl in a horizontally inclined posture, a second locking member 1b for supporting a back face of the bowl, and a base 2 on which a plurality of locking members are arranged with predetermined spaces. The first locking member includes a storing part 6 for storing the rim of the bowl, a first locking part 4a for allowing engagement in two or more directions when the rim of the bowl is positioned in the storing part, a second locking part 4b having a diameter larger than that of the first locking part formed above the second locking part, and a dish supporting part 7 for supporting the back face of the bowl.
