摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of correcting the biased center of the electric current in a spiral electric conductor 32 without increasing the electric resistance of the spiral electric conductor 32. SOLUTION: The thickness of the spiral electric conductor 32 varies in the lateral direction of the electric conductor 32. In a bending part 11 of the electric conductor 32, the electric conductor 32 is thicker on the outer side of the bending part 11 in the radial direction than on the inner side as the lateral direction is the radial direction of the radius of curvature. The electric conductor 32 includes a fixed thickness member with an substantially fixed thickness, and an additional member locally set on the fixed thickness member. The electric conductor 32 has the fixed thickness member with the approximately fixed thickness, and a different thickness part which is thinner than the fixed thickness is locally disposed in the fixed thickness member.
