PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearing article having an excellent tightening balance from the hem to the crotch and an excellent sense of wearing, excellent in preventing leakage, and having an excellent outside appearance in wearing the article. SOLUTION: The wearing article 10 includes: an abdominal elastic member 3f extending along the peripheral edge of a leg opening Lo from the abdominal side F toward the crotch C, bending in the crotch C and further extending toward the center Q in a width direction of the wearing article; and a back elastic member 3r extending along the peripheral edge of the leg opening Lo from the back side R toward the crotch C, bending in the crotch C and further extending toward the center Q in the width direction of the wearing article. The abdominal elastic member 3f and the back elastic member 3r cross each other in the bending area or in the vicinity of the area, and are disposed adjacent to each other in an area from the crossing point 6 toward the center Q in the lateral direction of the wearing article.
