PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a new technique for inhibiting growth of Helicobacter pylori without feeding a viable microorganism cell into a stomach.

SOLUTION: The growth inhibitor of Helicobacter pylori comprises a culture supernatant that is obtained when Aspergillus oryzae is cultivated using fruit juice of citrus fruits as a culture medium or an extract from the culture supernatant.
