<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device management apparatus, a control method and a program capable of managing a large number of devices as management objects, while suppressing a consumed storage area to a minimum, without restricting an amount of information acquired from management object devices and without restricting the number of management object devices. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-functional device 110 includes a network device management program 300 having a device management unit 303, a device list unit 304, a device monitoring unit 305, a device setting acquisition unit 306, and a device searching unit 308. Information for displaying a device list on an operation unit 111 is separated into basic information and additional information.
