PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for pulverization capable of suppressing lowering of pulverization efficiency by suppressing generation of shock waves in an accelerating tube. SOLUTION: A pulverizing material is fed from the pulverizing material feeding part 2a of a high pressure ejector 2 to deliver high pressure mixed phase gas consisting of pressurized air and the pulverizing material to a solid and gas-mixed phase vessel 4. The pressure in the solid and gas-mixed phase vessel 4 is adjusted by a pressure adjusting valve 5 and a pressure controlling instrument 6 to feed the mixed phase gas with a required pressure, which is sufficiently dispersed in the solid and gas-mixed phase vessel 4, to a pressurized gas feeding nozzle 8. The mixed phase gas fed to the pressurized gas feeding nozzle 8 is accelerated to a supersonic velocity by the pressurized gas feeding nozzle 8 and an accelerating tube 9 to jet toward a collision member 11 set in a pulverizing chamber 10.
