<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductor which has high critical current density and suitable superconductive characteristics by film-depositing while maintaining suitable crystal orientation of MgB<SB>2</SB>, and a method for manufacturing a MgB<SB>2</SB>superconductor which controls stable crystal orientation of the MgB<SB>2</SB>and has high superconductive characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The superconductor 10 is constituted with a laminated body wherein a metal substrate 11, a three-times symmetry MgO (111) layer 13 formed on the metal substrate 11 by an ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD), and a MgB<SB>2</SB>layer 14 are laminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
