PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment or the like which can more surely prevent wrong transmission due to an input mistake of destination facsimile number without transmitting a confirmation request manuscript to the destination in advance and without searching destination information after inputting the number when transmitting a FAX document. SOLUTION: The facsimile equipment includes a plurality of input means 11, 13, 14 to which the destination FAX number can be input, a determination means which determines whether the input results of the FAX numbers by selected two input means are identical or not, and a control means 2 which permits FAX transmission to a transmitter when the input results of the FAX numbers by the two input means are identical.
