The present invention relates to a rotatable display apparatus for high-quality video playback while rotating LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) arrayed in a single plane, the apparatus comprising: LED modules composed of LEDs; a rotor for supporting the LED modules; a body for supporting rotation of the rotor; a motor for rotating the rotor; and a controller for transmitting the entire image data of a corresponding frame to each of the LED modules to make all images of multiple frames that are expressed from each LED module overlap with one another. As image frame data is expressed simultaneously in the same quantity as the number of LED modules used for expressing one scene, the display apparatus of the present invention can display a video seamlessly, realize soft video playing, provide high-quality video playback with increased screen brightness, facilitate the watching for a viewer, arouse the viewer's interest, output realistic and efficient sounds, and automatically stop the motor or allow an operator to stop the device and take necessary measures when a rotating shaft is slightly displaced, thereby enhancing the safety and durability of the device as well as protecting the viewer from major unexpected accidents.
