A method and system for improving the playing quality of a handset television are provided in the present invention, which are used for solving the technical problem that the playing quality of the handset television is affected because of network overlay differences of the handset television. In the present invention, a terminal detects the network signal intensity of the handset television, performs a match judgment between the network signal intensity and the bit stream of the handset television, and requests a handset television service platform to dynamically adjust the program bit stream of the handset television according to the result of the match judgment, so that the playing quality of the handset television program is improved, and users can enjoy a satisfying watching effect of handset television programs in different handset television network environments. |
