The device (1) has an angle measuring sensor (9) and a displacement sensor (10) for detecting position deviations of a tension cable (3) or a tension wire. The sensors are arranged on a settlement-sensitive component (2). The tension cable or the tension wire is arranged as a reference beam on a settlement-insensitive component (5) i.e. end transverse carrier of bridge. The displacement sensor and the angle-measuring sensor are designed as contactless measuring sensors or magnetic/inductive sensors. An inclinometer (14) is arranged on the settlement-insensitive component.
