PURPOSE: A light emitting unit is provided to simplify a structure and a manufacturing process by mounting a light emitting diode chip on a heat emitting substrate which simultaneously implements a heat emitting function and a reflecting function. CONSTITUTION: A recess part(12) is formed at the center part of a heat emitting substrate(10). A light emitting diode chip(20) is mounted on the recess part of the heat emitting substrate. The light emitting diode chip includes an N-type pad(22N) and a P-type pad(22P). Positive wiring patterns(18a) and negative wiring patterns(18b) are formed on both sides of the recess part. The number of the patterns corresponds to the number of light emitting diode chips. The N-type pad and the P-type pad of the light emitting diode chip are in electrical connection with the positive wiring patterns and the negative wiring patterns.
