A high-pressure gas discharge lamp (100) comprises: a lamp cap (1) having a conductive connection structure (11) at the base of the lamp cap (1); a high-pressure gas discharge bulb (2) incorporated with the lamp cap (1) and having a pair of conductive wires (21a, 21b) connected with the conductive connection structure (11); a lamp socket (4) combined with the lamp cap (1) through the conductive connection structure (11); and a voltage conversion circuit (6) to convert the voltage of the external power supply (5) and provide the converted voltage to the high-pressure gas discharge bulb (2). The high-pressure gas discharge lamp (100) further comprises a lamp envelope (3) and/or a reflective lamp shade (7), wherein the lamp envelope (3) is incorporated with the lamp cap (1) and covers the high-pressure gas discharge bulb (2) to diffuse the light emitted therefrom. Moreover, a first magnetic unit (113) can be disposed at the base of the lamp cap (1), and a second magnetic unit (43) can be correspondingly disposed in the lamp socket (4).
