Provided is a light-source unit that enables reduction in cost. The light-source unit is provided with multiple LEDs (16), an LED substrate (17) on which the multiple LEDs (16) are arranged, and longitudinally-shaped reflection sheets (30) that are to be arranged on a face at the side of the LED substrate (17) where the LEDs are arranged. The reflection sheet (30) has multiple light-source surrounding refection units (31) that surround each of the LEDs (16), when viewed as a planar view, and multiple connecting sections (32) that connect adjacent light-source surrounding refection units (31) with each other. The width (Y2) of the connecting sections (32) is configured to be narrower than the width (Y1) of the light-source surrounding refection units, in the narrower-side direction of the reflection sheet (30).
