Specifically disclosed is an X-ray diagnostic device (1) provided with an X-ray generator (11), an X-ray diaphragm means (12) for defining the range of irradiation with X rays, an X-ray plane detector (13), an irradiation field region detecting means (21) for detecting positional information relating to an X-ray irradiation field region of the X-ray plane detector (13), a cut-out position candidate point calculating means (23) for calculating, on the basis of the positional information relating to the irradiation field region, positional information relating to a candidate point of the cut-out position of a rectangular region circumscribing the irradiation field region in an image, a rectangular region position calculating means (24) for calculating positional information relating to the rectangular region on the basis of the positional information relating to the candidate point, and a rectangular region displaying means (26) for displaying the rectangular region.
