AFFINITY BIO-CHIPS

PURPOSE: An affinity biochip is provided to uniformly fix a receptor material on a sensor chip surface and to remarkably reduce non-specific bond. CONSTITUTION: An affinity biochip comprises: a substrate; a functional p-xylene thin film containing -COOH, -OH or -NH2 at the end; a functional group which is able to bind with the functional p-xylene by amide bond or ester bond; and a molecular recognition material layer. The substrate is metal plate or synthetic resin plate. The functional p-xylene is formed by irradiating plasma.
