<p>The present invention discloses a method for searching world interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) frequency band. The method includes the following steps: a WiMAX terminal receives the frequency band searching instruction; the WiMAX terminal invokes the preset configuration file according to the frequency band that specified by the frequency band searching instruction; the WiMAX terminal searches the WiMAX network corresponding to the frequency band according to the invoked configuration files. By adopting that configuration files corresponding to the multiple frequency bands are preset in one WiMAX terminal, the present invention only needs to re-invoke the corresponding configuration file to search when the WiMAX network needs to be searched and thus simplifies the usage of the WiMAX terminal. Three frequency bands of the WiMAX network can be used independently at the same time by using one terminal. The cost of adopting multiple terminals is effectively saved when the user uses network of different frequency bands and the using efficiency of the product is improved.</p> |
