PURPOSE: A tilting pad bearing for a rotary shaft of a turbocharger for a ship engine is provided to secure uniform supporting force while absorbing changes in the load of a rotary shaft, which acts in radial and thrust directions. CONSTITUTION: A tilting pad bearing for a rotary shaft of a turbocharger for a ship engine comprises a first thrust bearing(20), a sleeve thrust ring(10), a second combined bearing(30), and a third radial bearing(40). The front side of the first thrust bearing is in contact with a labyrinth ring(5). The thrust ring is arranged behind the labyrinth ring and integrally formed with a radial contact portion and a thrust contact portion. The second combined bearing comprises a radial bearing portion and a thrust bearing portion. The inner surface of the third radial bearing is in contact with a rotary shaft(3).
