A method and apparatus for protecting information based on a data card are provided. The method comprises: selecting the information to be hidden in a terminal device; storing the information to be hidden in a hidden partition of the data card. The method makes the attacker can not be aware of the existence of the information, and improves the safety of the information in the data card, thus the user's private information could be better protected. |
