METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR TRANSMITTING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/NEGATIVE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT MESSAGE

A method for transmitting an Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) message, which is suitable for a terminal in a wider bandwidth multi-carrier system to perform the ACK/NACK. The method includes: according to carrier aggregation allocation information in the multi-carrier system, detecting each downlink component carrier which is allocated to the terminal and obtaining the ACK/NACK message HARQ_ACK(i) of each downlink component carrier; and according to a combination state {HARQ_ACK(0),HARQ_ACK(1),...,HARQ_ACK(M-1)} of the ACK/NACK messages of the downlink component carriers, selecting one available Physical Uplink Control Channel­­­­ (PUCCH) n(1) PUCCH and adopting a format 1b of the PUCCH to send 2-bit information of the ACK/NACK message by the terminal, and the 2-bit information is recorded as b(0)b(1), wherein the M is the number of the downlink component carriers allocated to the terminal, the available PUCCH is one of the M PUCCHs which correspond to M downlink component carriers, i.e. n(1) PUCCH?n(1) PUCCH, i, i=0,1,...M-1.
