Apparatus (20) is provided, which includes a dental implant (30) having a lateral external surface (42), the implant (30) being shaped so as to define a lumen (40) therethrough having a lateral opening (44) through the lateral external surface (42). The apparatus further includes a delivery tube (50) having a distal tube end, which is removably coupled to the implant (30) such that the delivery tube (50) is in fluid communication with the lumen (40) via the lateral opening (44). The distal tube end is welded to the implant (30), such that application of a breaking torque to the delivery tube (50) breaks the delivery tube (50), thereby decoupling the delivery tube (50) from the implant (30).
