PURPOSE: A cooker is provided to ensure stable use of an image sensor for scanning food and minimize damage to the image sensor due to the heat leaking out of the cooking cavity through the sensing opening. CONSTITUTION: A cooker comprises a main body, a heating source(25), a reflector(37), and an image sensor(27). The main body comprises a cooking cavity(11) with a projection opening in the ceiling thereof. The projection opening is a shield member made of a transparent material. The heating source provides heat for the heating of the food in the cooking cavity. The reflector reflects the shape of the food in the cooking cavity through the projection opening. The image sensor scans the shape of the food reflected onto the reflector.
