The maximum power tracking device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a capacitor for charging and discharging the output power of a power generating unit; and a switching control unit for controlling the charge and discharge of the capacitor according to a control constant and a perturbation signal for the power generating unit, wherein the control constant is obtained by a cross-correlation operation between the perturbation signal and the perturbation signal power included in the output of the capacitor.
