<p>The method for the production of a combustion body from sludge (80), comprises filling the sludge in a high-pressure filter press and subsequently pressing the combustion body under pressure into pellet-, cuboid- or cube form in a residual water content of 20%. The sludge is pressed between two press surfaces to a pellet (90) and the sludge is dewatered during the pressing process over dewatering channel of both pressing surfaces, where cavities (40) of a mold frame is filled with sludge, which is pressed to pellets.
