<p>A method and device for tracking a multimedia message is provided, which is used to count the forwarding times of the multimedia message delivered by a service provider (SP) to provide additional services such as multimedia message ranking. The present invention enables carrying the mark conveniently when SP delivers the multimedia message, and then multimedia messaging service gateway performs registration, and multimedia messaging service center records track log when forwarding the multimedia message, and multimedia messaging track apparatus counts the forwarding times of a seed multimedia message according to the registered information of the seed multimedia message and the content recorded in the tracking log, and thus implements the ranking service of the multimedia messages and other services.</p> |
