METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ALIGNING PHASES OF THE MASTER AND STAND-BY CLOCKS

A method and a device for aligning the phases of the master and stand-by clocks are provided. The method includes steps of: A. locking the phase of the master clock; B. measuring the phase difference of the stand-by clock and the master clock. C. regulating the phase output by the stand-by clock based on the phase difference measured by step B so as to align the phases of the master clock and stand-by clock. A device for aligning the phases of the master and stand-by clocks is also provided. The precision of the phase alignment is improved without adding the cost by measuring the phase difference of the stand-by clock and the master clock and aligning the phases of the master and stand-by clocks based on the phase difference by the invention.
