PURPOSE: A natural adhesive gained from the Pourthiaea villosa's leaf and a process for gaining the same, and a method for manufacturing Korean paper with the adhesive are provided to prevent the twist of paper mulberry fiber by utilizing adhesive liquid having high viscosity for the fabrication of a Korean paper. CONSTITUTION: The leaf of Pourthiaea villosa is collected between flowering time and ripening time, and cleaned with water. The cleaned leaf is grinded through a grinding unit, and the grinded leaf is put into a cloth sack. Through the pressure of the grinded leaf, the leaf is separated into an adhesive liquid and mesophyll. The adhesive liquid is put into the sack which is denser than the cloth sack. Through the squeezing operation, the adhesive liquid is refined. |
