PURPOSE: An LED backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to make an angle at which light is spread toward a side larger, thereby reducing the thickness of a backlight unit and the number of light emitting diodes or light emitting element packages used in a unit size. CONSTITUTION: A mounting unit on which a light emitting element package is mounted is formed on a circuit board(10). The circuit board comprises a conductive layer. A light emitting element package(20) is mounted on the mounting unit of the circuit board. The light emitting element package is electrically connected to the conductive layer. |
