A method and apparatus for configuring carriers in carrier aggregation system are provided, which enable user terminals to reduce the number of the blind detections of channels. The method includes: a Base Station(BS) configures the carriers for a channel bearing control information to be listened and the carriers for a channel bearing downlink data to be received for a terminal, by transmitting the carrier aggregate information of the channel bearing control information to be listened and the carrier aggregate information of the channel bearing downlink data to be received to the terminal.
