METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OBTAINING CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION

A method and apparatus for obtaining channel state information are provided. The method includes: obtaining the first channel matrix at the time frequency point; computing the second channel matrix in the time frequency domain under a set feedback granularity according to the first channel matrix; obtaining the first channel state matrix according to the first channel matrix and the second channel matrix. The method also includes: obtaining the base codebook; processing a normalizing treatment of the vectors of which the base codebook is consisted; recomposing the normalized vectors to form the new vectors; obtaining the precoding matrix index (PMI) of the multiple antenna codebook and regarding the PMI as the channel state information to be fed back.
