PURPOSE: A sliding bearing for an internal combustion engine and a semi-cylindrical bearing are provided to prevent a sliding surface from foreign materials by reducing inertial force applied to the foreign material. CONSTITUTION: A sliding bearing for an internal combustion engine(10) includes a semi-cylindrical bearing(20, 30), an oil groove(22), and an axial groove(A). The semi-cylindrical bearing supports a crank shaft. The oil groove is expanded from one inner circumference(20a) of the semi-cylindrical bearing to a circumferential direction. A center part is arranged on the center of the circumferential direction of the oil groove.
