To use 99mTc as a raw material for a radioactive drug and a labeling compound therefor, 99mTc contained in a trace amount in high-concentration Mo (99Mo) is purified and collected at a high yield (95% or higher) while preventing contamination with 99Mo. 99mTc as a raw material for a radioactive drug and a labeling compound therefor is collected by preparing a high-concentration Mo solution containing a radioactive nuclide 99Mo that is the parent nuclide thereof; forming 99mTc until radioactive equilibrium is reached to thereby provide a high-concentration Mo (99Mo) solution containing the radioactive nuclides 99Mo and 99mTc; passing the high-concentration Mo (99Mo) solution through an adsorption column packed with activated carbon and thus allowing the activated carbon to selectively adsorb 99mTc in the solution; and then desorbing 99mTc from the activated carbon having the thus adsorbed 99mTc and purifying the same with the use of a desorbent to thereby collect 99mTc at a high purity.
