METHOD FOR ROUTE DISCOVERY IN MESH NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for setting a route in a mesh network is provided to set a route with a high transmission rate metric value of a link when a route is set. CONSTITUTION: An originating node spreads an RREQ(Route Request) message to an adjacent node. A destination node receives the RREQ packet of adjacent nodes through a different route. The destination node transmits RREP(Route Reply) packets for RREQ packets to the adjacent nodes. The originating node receives the RREP packets. An optimized route is set by a transmission rate metric value in the RREQ packet and the RREP packet.
