Lightguide with reflectors for even area illumination

The element has a light source (2) i.e. LED, whose light surface (21) is assigned to a light entry surface (12). An elongated lighting-strip (1) is made of a translucent material. The light source warps a light cone (22) in the light entry surface. A reflector (3) of the lighting-strip is arranged in the light cone, and reflects a part of light rays (L) of the light source. Another reflector (4) of the lighting-strip is arranged outside the light cone. The latter reflector reflects light rays of a light emitting surface (11). An independent claim is also included for a method for uniform illumination of a light emitting surface.
