<p>The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a photoelectric conversion element that stably manufactures photoelectric conversion elements on a massive scale in an easy manner that can seal the electrolyte layer more reliably and suppress leakage of an electrolyte by having a structure, in which a working electrode, an counter electrode, and a bonding layer, which surround an electrolyte layer, are compressed by the atmospheric pressure all the time. The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a photoelectric conversion element that includes a working electrode, an counter electrode that is bonded to the working electrode through a bonding layer disposed in an outer periphery area of one surface of the working electrode, and an electrolyte layer that has an electrolyte arranged in a gap thereof as a main body, and is a manufacturing method of a photoelectric conversion element at least including: a step of forming the electrolyte layer by filling the gap with the electrolyte through a through hole that is disposed in the working electrode or the counter electrode in advance under a decompressed environment; and a step of acquiring the photoelectric conversion element by sealing the through hole while maintaining the decompressed environment.</p> |
