The method involves transmitting an encrypted stream of data relative to a digital content towards a client device (1). A stream of access control messages used for controlling access to the digital content is transmitted to the client device. A revocation list containing repudiated module identifiers of the client device is established, where the module identifiers of the revocation list are contained in a part of the transmitted access control messages. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for reception of data stream relative to a digital content by a client device (2) a access control message generation and emission server comprising a generation unit for generating an access control message (3) an equipment for reception of a data stream relative to a digital content by a client device.
