<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a member formed with a thermal spray coating, into which TiO<SB>2</SB>is dispersedly incorporated, and which exhibits an excellent environmental purification action, and simultaneously, has excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion by suppressing a change from anatase type TiO<SB>2</SB>into rutile type TiO<SB>2</SB>. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal spray-coated member having excellent corrosion resistance and environmental purification properties is obtained, on the surface of a base material made of steel, by forming a thermal spray coating in which anatase type TiO<SB>2</SB>particles are dispersed into a metal/alloy with a thickness of 20 to 1,000 mm having an electrochemically base potential to the steel material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
