Use of a composition comprising at least an azole compound, and at least an amidoalkylamine compound (I) or its salt and/or acid addition compounds, for protecting technical materials before the attack and/or destruction by microorganisms, is claimed. Use of a composition comprising at least an azole compound, and at least an amidoalkylamine compound of formula (R 1>-C(=O)-N(R 4>)-(CH 2) n-N(R 2>)(R 3>)) (I) or its salt and/or acid addition compounds, for protecting technical materials before the attack and/or destruction by microorganisms, is claimed. R 1> : optionally substituted 1-40C-alkyl or 2-40C-alkenyl; R 2>-R 4> : H or 1-8C-alkyl; and n : 1-6.
