PURPOSE: A power generation method and apparatus using the principle of seesaw are provided to implement semi-permanent power generation using four or more pistons which successively have seesaw motion by the operation of a water gate. CONSTITUTION: In a power generation apparatus using the principle of seesaw, four or more cylinders("1) and pistons(1) are installed successively. A seesaw post(7) and a seesaw rail(8) are installed on the cylinders to set a seesaw(6). An air inlet/outlet pipe(14) is installed beside the rail and an air tank(15) is formed on each cylinder. An automatic control device(12) is attached to the seesaw post. An up-and-down operation part(22) for pistons including a stroke adjusting bolt(5) is installed in the rail. A water circulator(13) is installed in the front side of each cylinder. A water gate(9), a water gate magnet(10) and a permanent magnet(11) are installed in each piston. A driving pulley(16), a generator(17), and a crank shaft are installed in the lower part of each cylinder.
