A turbine nozzle 26 includes radially inner 42 and outer bands 44 integrally joined to opposite ends of an airfoil 46, the outer band has forward and aft hooks (50,52 Fig 2) extending radially outwardly at axially opposite ends, each hook has a corresponding axially extending rail,the forward rail has a circumferentially concave inner surface 60 and the aft rail has a circumferentially convex outer surface 66, also the hooks have different prechorded circumferential curvatures such that there is a mismatch between the curvature of the forward and aft rails with the curvature of grooves which they are located in when the nozzle is cold. The rails may vary in radial thickness, such as the aft rail being thicker at its circumferential middle and the forward rail being thinner in its circumferential middle. The rails may include an integral local pad, this may be at the middle of the inner surface of the aft rail and at the ends of the outside surface of the forward rail.
