BURSTING DISK FOR GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR

PURPOSE: A safety rupture disk for a gas insulated switchgear is provided to prevent damage to devices or casualty by discharging the excessive pressure in a pressure rise. CONSTITUTION: A safety rupture disk is comprised of a dome type thin film disk(1) and a dome type reinforcing disk(2). A sawtooth pattern(3) and a wood latch pattern(4) are formed in the center of the dome type reinforcing disk. The dome type thin film disk is cut by the sawtooth pattern of the dome type reinforcing disk in a rapid pressure rise. SF-6 gas is discharged through a gap between the wood latch patterns.
