PURPOSE: An automotive alternating current generator and a method for a rectifying device loaded in the same are provided to suppress the increase of the numbers of components by manufacturing a heat sink in a single component. CONSTITUTION: A rectifying device includes a first heat sink base(28) and a second heat sink base(34) and a heat sink pin(29) and a heat sink pin(35). The heat sin bases are formed into a circular integrated cylinder body. The heat sink pins are installed along the outer circumference wall of the heat sink base. A positive diode(21) and a negative diode(22) are loaded along the inner circumference of the heat sink bases.
