PURPOSE: A variable heat treating device and a method of manufacturing a high-strength and high-ductility wire using the same are provided to stimulate dynamic re-crystallization and to make a tissue fine by removing the remaining stress from a wire tissue by heating the wire. CONSTITUTION: A variable heat treating device consists of a sliding rail unit(5), a cooler(2), a heater(3), and a wire drawing die(4). The rail unit is extended to the wire drawing die. The sliding rail unit is extended to cross with a transfer rail unit, on which a cooling stand is located. The cooler and the heater are installed on the sliding rail unit and are located on a crossing area. A wire drawing material, which is cooled by a cooling stand(1), is transferred to the wire drawing die after being selectively cooled or heated by the cooler or the heater on the crossing area. |
